Salary Range:$12.35 per hour: Special Rate = $15/hour 2/21/2021 thru 6/30/2021

Full-Time Direct Care Worker position with schedule of 36 to 40 hours per week. We will do our best to minimize the amount of travel to and between cases, but you will be expected to travel to the cases as scheduled. If there is a shortage of hours available in the field, you will be offered work at the corporate office to meet your weekly hours. You must have a vehicle with current registration and insurance for travel.

Your regular schedule will be determined based on the needs of our clients, your regular workweek will be Monday through Friday and you will be required to take On-Call Weekend rotations (Frequency will vary based on pool of Full-Time DCWs).

Special Rate = $15/hour 2/21/2021 thru 6/30/2021


Essential Functions:

  • Appropriately assist member with personal care activities, routine house cleaning, laundry, ambulation and transfers, meal preparation and feeding, and learning objectives in the service plan.

  • Immediately report any changes in the member’s condition or incidents to the assigned Member Care Supervisor or Supervisor on Duty.

  • Assignments are fulfilled with reliability and punctuality utilizing personal conduct guidelines outlined in the Client/Direct Care Worker Agreement.

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all personal member information.

  • Maintain training/certifications as warranted.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow directions, policies and procedures.

  • High school education or GED preferred.

  • Bilingual a plus.

Specialized Training:

  • Experience providing personal care and housekeeping – 3 months minimum

Preferred Certification/Licensure:

  • AHCCCS Direct Care Worker training or current CNA license a plus.

  • Current CPR & First Aid certification.

  • Required to pass and maintain background clearances.

  • Valid driver’s license that is in good standing and current vehicle insurance and registration.

Certification for DDD:

  • Completion of Direct Care Worker (DCW) training.

  • DCW Developmental Disability training module.

  • Article 9 Training

  • Prevention and Support Training may be required for specific.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

  • May require sitting or standing for long periods of time
